So anyways, now I can tell you the story of Sunday...
On Sunday we did church. Then Melissa came over for her piano lesson and Colleen came over period. :) Then Colleen departed for church in Curran, and Mel and I walked to Kyle H.'s graduation open house. It was great. :) We stayed there for the afternoon, then Garrett, Hudson, Mel, Indi, Kyle and I went to Tia's. Which was also fun.
After that, we parted ways for awhile, then ended up with Gare, Mel, Indi, Kyle H. and I going to the river. It was busy at the normal place so we tried this tiny little place Melissa knew, but that just didn't cut it. Eventually we ended up at the bigger park in Mio, and our time spent there mostly consisted of watching the boys try to skip rocks and then try to hit an empty beer can with rocks. We girls kind of tired of it and went on the river walk. Gare and Kyle soon gave up and followed. It was definitely a good time with good friends.
After all that, Melissa stayed in Mio but the rest of us went back to Indi's and played Boggle. Well, Indi and I played. Kyle half-heartedly played. And Garrett gladly used the wireless internet. Then Indi and I came home and had a really good talk before embarking on a quest to return her hair to its natural shade of brown from the red she had dyed it to the week before.
I had this stuff (Color Oops) that would supposedly do the job and leave her hair pretty much undamaged. We put it on par the directions, but when I flipped her hair over, I was astonished to see that the roots were turning bright orangey-golden! A little bit of panic built within me. And a lot in Indi. To the point that we were just hurrying to try to rinse it out. We rinsed for 20 minutes, just like the box said. But alas...4 shampoos and many minutes later of rinsing.... Her hair still came out gold-orange.
The next morning, it didn't look as bad, but it was still unacceptable in Indi's mind. We made a dash to Rite-Aid for some brown hair dye. We then applied it and by maybe 9 something in the morning, she was almost as good as new! :) What a trip, though!
So...lesson learned...stay away from Color Oops unless you want an even bigger COLOR OOPS!! haha
What I'm listening to tonight:
Yeah...tonight's an eclectic evening...
