Today has been interesting. I'm kind of ready to go home, I think. Two goodbyes in two days. A lot to handle, I guess. I'm kind of emotionally and physically exhausted. Ready for some R & R at home. (Riiight. haha)
This morning Em and I were up early and on the road so that we were at MEPS by 8:30. We got breakfast and were back at MEPS a little before 9. We went in and found Scottie, then waited with him for his family. There was a lot of waiting this morning. Found out I'm even worse at iTouch air hockey than I am in real life. We got to watch Scottie swear in and got to go to the airport to say goodbye. I can't lie, it was really hard for me and Em to watch him walk through security and up the stairs to join the other military recruits. Sigh. We then compensated by taking pictures like this:
Anyways, here's the rest of my week:
Off to Bethany and Kyle's tonight.
Tomorrow to Grandma's house.
Friday to home.
Yeah...I'm ready for that. I just want to lay in my bed for a long, long time.
