Today was such a good day!! Dad and I played tennis, and I actually won one game. I think maybe he let me, but that was nice of him, haha. The rest of the day I just totally got stuff done which was nice. And I had a really long devotional reading in Acts and just being with God. I love those times when He just draws me so close and says, "Britany. I love you. Why are you so troubled? My love covers you."
This afternoon Colleen and I were able to get a lot done at church plus catch up a little bit. I have missed her. It's great to be back working with someone who just gets my worship style so easily, and I don't even have to say much. After supper, Melissa came over for her first piano lesson which went really well. I hope that she doesn't get too frustrated as we go along, though. That's the one danger with learning something when you're older because you just assume it should be easier for you because you're an adult.
Anyways, Indi is visiting for the weekend because of graduation and such, so she came over and the three of us went on a walk. Mel had to go home then because she had ridden her bike over and didn't want to ride back while it was dark. Indigo stayed for quite a while and it was so good to catch up with her. I love that Mel and Indi and I can come back here and still be really good friends. It's a definitely good thing.
While Indi and I were talking, all of a sudden there appeared at the door a strange figure and Indi goes, "Uh...I don't know them." It was Jon Knox, Titus, and Mike Tartaglia!! :) I was soooooo excited to see them!! They brought me a wonderful little zebra cake. Made my night!
Now after everyone has left I get to talk to my dear Emily Bowman. She helps me de-stress so much. And I got to watch the VBS dvd and learn the dances to the songs. I look ridiculous...haha.
